DirectChem™ offers an entire line of bacterial products that safely speed up the natural decaying process of organic waste and eliminates the noxious gases associated with decomposition.

Each product includes three essential elements:
• Essential nutrients
• Free enzymes
• Bacterial digestant

Essential nutrients replace the vitamins and minerals extracted from food by living things before waste material is produced. Bacteria also thrive on these nutrients. Adding them to our products increases bacterial growth and activity.

Free Enzymes break up complex waste molecules into simple pieces. Bacteria can digest simple pieces faster than complex molecules, thus speeding the entire process. Enzymes are chemicals, not living things. They are task specific. Different enzymes are used to break down: proteins, carbohydrates, fats/greases, and cellulose.

Bacterial digestants break down and convert organic waste into its two basic components: carbon dioxide and water. The bacterial cultures eliminate the build-up of waste as well as noxious fumes. Bacterial digestants will not cause disease in man or animals. They function effectively whether oxygen is present or not.
